Accredited Specialist property lawyer joins Keypoint’s Melbourne team

Keypoint Law is delighted to welcome Sangeeta Thaker to the firm as a Consulting Principal, based in Melbourne. Sangeeta joins Keypoint as an Accredited Specialist in Property Law.

Sangeeta specialises is property and construction law, with over 20 years of experience advising Australian and international developers, corporations, listed and unlisted property trusts and financiers on the full breadth of property transactions – including acquisitions, disposals, structuring issues, lease transactions and development advice in relation to retail, commercial, industrial and residential property.

Sangeeta joins Keypoint from United Petroleum, where she was the oil and petroleum giant’s Head Legal Counsel (Property & Construction) for close to 5 years. Prior to this, Sangeeta held senior roles with several mid-tier law firms – most recently as a Special Counsel at Maddocks.  Sangeeta brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in property law to the firm, and marks an exciting milestone for the firm’s Melbourne office, further bolstering Keypoint’s commercial property law offering.
